Privacy Policy

Last updated: March 2, 2026

1. Introduction

NudgeBill ("we," "us," or "our") operates the NudgeBill platform at nudgebill.com. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect information when you use our service.

2. Information We Collect

Account Information

When you create an account, we collect your email address and, if you sign in with Google, your name. You may also provide a business name and custom sender name.

Invoice Data

When you create invoices, we store your client's name, email address, invoice amount, description, and due date. This data is necessary to send reminders on your behalf.

Payment Information

Payments are processed entirely by Stripe. We do not collect or store credit card numbers, bank account details, or other payment card data. We store only Stripe account and transaction identifiers to link payments to invoices.

Usage Data

We use Vercel Analytics and Microsoft Clarity to understand how visitors use our site. This may include page views, clicks, scroll behavior, and session recordings. No personally identifiable information is intentionally collected through these tools.

Email Tracking

For Pro plan users, reminder emails may include a small tracking pixel to detect whether an email was opened. We record the open event and timestamp. We do not log the recipient's IP address, location, or device information.

3. How We Use Your Information

  • To operate and provide the NudgeBill service
  • To send invoice reminders to your clients on your behalf
  • To process payments through Stripe
  • To send you transactional emails (e.g., payment confirmations)

4. Third-Party Services

  • Supabase — database hosting and authentication
  • Stripe — payment processing and connected accounts
  • Resend — email delivery for reminders and notifications
  • Vercel — application hosting and analytics
  • Microsoft Clarity — session recording and heatmap analytics

Each of these services has its own privacy policy governing how they handle data.

5. Cookies

We use cookies for authentication and session management. Third-party analytics services (Vercel Analytics, Microsoft Clarity) may also set cookies. These cookies are essential for the service to function and to help us understand usage patterns.

6. Data Retention

We retain your account and invoice data for as long as your account is active. If you wish to delete your account and associated data, please contact us at the email below.

7. Data Security

We use industry-standard security measures to protect your data, including encrypted connections (HTTPS), secure authentication tokens, and access controls. However, no method of transmission over the internet is 100% secure.

8. Your Rights

You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal data at any time by contacting us. We will respond to your request within a reasonable timeframe.

9. Children's Privacy
